Nicole, a versatile individual from Virginia, has worked as a clinician, designer, technician, and visual instructor.
In the late 1990s, she performed with Revelation Winterguard, an independent A Class winter guard, and later with the Patriots Drum Corps, which won a DCI Division II gold medal. After aging out of A-class competition, she moved to Rochester, NY and performed with the World Class Patriots Winterguard from 2000 to 2003.
From 2000 to 2019, Nicole taught in various states, including New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Mississippi, Iowa, Missouri, and Kentucky. She discovered her passion for teaching at the Mid-Atlantic Marching Band camp in Virginia.
Nicole is also the founder of The Cookout (an event celebrating people of color in colorguard), a Council Member of Our Marching Counts, a member of the WGI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and a consultant with The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps.
Nicole, an Indiana sales representative for Fruhauf, brand manager at Guard Closet, and winterguard design consultant, program coordinator for Leyda Music also adjudicates marching bands and winterguards.
In Cincinnati, OH, Nicole enjoys theater, live music, true crime, books and art museums. A mental health advocate, she encourages well-being.
